Product Description

1. INTRODUCTION

This advanced protocol adheres to the MODBUS communication standards, utilizing a sub-centralized RTU mode with RS485 half-duplex operational mode. It ensures seamless integration and optimal performance within the MODBUS framework.

Serial port configuration: no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit.
Example: 9600,N,8,1 Explanation: 9600bps transmission speed, no parity bit, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit.
The transmitter is compatible with the following serial baud rates: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200.
CRC checksum polynomial: 0xA001.
In data communication, all processes handle double-byte shaped data. For floating-point numbers, the decimal point must be read to accurately determine the data size.

Installation Instructions



When adjusting the baud rate, the transmitter will respond by echoing the baud rate sent by the host for modification. Once the response is received, the transmitter's baud rate will be updated to the new target value seamlessly.
Upon modifying the address, the transmitter will first reply with its current address. After this confirmation, the transmitter will automatically update to the new address specified.
To save and confirm the factory command, the transmitter will return to its original value, indicating successful acceptance of the host's command.
Note that when restoring factory settings, the parameters saved by the factory might differ from those saved by the user. This means the address, baud rate, and calibration data may vary. Therefore, it is crucial to re-scan the transmitter after restoring factory parameters.
Users are permitted to modify only three specific data points: address, baud rate, and zero offset.
For calibration or change in calibration data, please contact our company for the transmitter's calibration software. Any user attempt to modify calibration data directly will result in the transmitter outputting a command exception code. Utilize our calibration software for any calibration data modifications.
When reading data identified as a floating point number, such as 6.000, the protocol specifies that data is transmitted as an integer. For instance, 6000 is communicated and then calculated as 6.000 by dividing by 10^3. Hence, 6000 divided by 10^3 results in the value 6.000.
