Welcome to Jiangsu Aice Instrument Technology Co., Ltd.
I. Basic Setting Once the instrument is installed, simply set the installation height and select the standard weir/flume type for seamless operation. II. Installation Height Setting The installation height varies with different types of water measuring weirs/flumes. Below are standard methods for determining installation height: Parshall Flume: Measure the vertical distance from the end of the ultrasonic transducer (probe) to the bottom inside the flume in meters. Rectangular Weir: Measure the vertical distance from the end of the ultrasonic transducer (probe) to the lowest point of the weir's water outlet in meters. Triangular Weir: Measure the vertical distance from the end of the ultrasonic transducer (probe) to the right-angle point of the weir's water outlet in meters.
III. Flumes/Weirs Selection and Setting Geometric Parameters Choose the actual type of flume/weir and set the corresponding geometric parameters as follows: Parshall Flume: Select 'Parshall Flume' type and set the standard flume number based on the width of the throat section. Refer to Table 1 for the standard flume number based on measured throat width. Rectangular Weir: Choose 'Rectangular Weir' type and configure the channel width, weir width, bottom height, and geometric parameter descriptions accurately to ensure optimal functionality.
