Product Description

1.INTRODUCTION

Our Industrial Pressure Transmitter seamlessly integrates with the MODBUS communication protocol, adopting a sub-centralized RTU mode and employing the RS485 half-duplex working mode within the MODBUS framework.

Serial Port Configuration: No parity, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit.
Example Configuration: 9600,N,8,1 - This signifies a baud rate of 9600bps, no parity, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit.
Supported Serial Baud Rates include: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200.
CRC Checksum Polynomial: 0xA001.
Data communication adheres to a double-byte data format. For floating-point numbers, it is essential to read the decimal point to ascertain the data's magnitude accurately.

Installation Instructions



When modifying the baud rate, the transmitter will respond with the new baud rate value specified by the host. Once this confirmation reply is sent, the transmitter's baud rate will seamlessly update to the desired setting.
Upon modifying the address, the transmitter will first acknowledge the current address prior to alteration. Following this acknowledgment, the transmitter's address will be updated automatically to the new value.
Executing the 'Save and Reply' factory command will return the original set values, confirming that the transmitter has successfully received and accepted the host's command.
When restoring factory settings, please be aware that the factory defaults may differ from user-defined settings. Consequently, parameters such as address, baud rate, and calibration data might change. It's essential to re-scan the transmitter to recognize these new parameters post-restoration.
Users are permitted to modify only three specific data points: address, baud rate, and zero offset.
For calibration or modification of calibration data, please contact our company to obtain the transmitter's calibration software. Unauthorized attempts to change calibration data via user commands will result in the transmitter outputting an exception code. Always use our recommended calibration software for such adjustments.
If the data you need to read is in floating point format (e.g., 6.000), but the protocol indicates it should be communicated as integer data, you will receive it as 6000. To convert this to the correct format, apply the appropriate decimal point shift. For instance, if the decimal point is 3, you would calculate 6000/10^3 to get 6.000.
