Installation Instructions

Our cutting-edge technology leverages the Doppler effect to create a precise correlation between frequency variations and flow velocity. Additionally, the time differential in ultrasonic transmission and reception is used to determine the liquid level, while static pressure level measurements are tailored for specific working conditions. Ambient temperature measurements are also employed to correct the actual speed of ultrasonic propagation, ensuring unparalleled accuracy and reliability.

2.3 Sensor Installation
Precautions:
1) Avoid any shocks to the sensor!
2) Do not unscrew the locking wire connector on the sensor during installation to prevent damage.
3) Ensure water around the sensor does not freeze to avoid potential damage.
Sensor dimensions as shown:

1) Follow these criteria for selecting an optimal sensor mounting location.
2) Position the sensor to capture representative measurements of the process.
3) Install the sensor in an easily accessible spot for regular cleaning and maintenance.
4) Choose a well-mixed process location with no downtime for sensor installation, ideally near the sampling point.
5) Place the sensor close to a representative sampling point, within 1.5m (5 feet). Proper sampling is crucial for accurate calibration and comparison of instrument readings with lab results. Avoid improper sampling to prevent erroneous results.

2.4 Sensor Installation Method
The installation method involves immersing the sensor in the channel or pipe through a mounting bracket, making it optimal for general open channels, pipelines, and similar applications. This ensures reliable and accurate flow rate measurements even in varied conditions.
It is crucial to install the sensor on the mounting bracket and never suspend it using the sensor cable. The sensor should be immersed to a depth of at least 30cm below the water surface, or to the typical sampling depth, to ensure accurate readings. Additionally, avoid direct exposure to strong light to maintain sensor integrity.
1) Choice of Installation Site
Select a location where the water flow is consistently smooth to ensure precise measurements.
In areas where the water flow is not smooth and often turbulent, the measured flow velocity can become erratic and unstable, resulting in significant errors. Therefore, it is important to avoid such turbulent conditions for accurate measurements.
2) Requirements for Upstream and Downstream Channels
Ideally, the installation site should have an upstream channel width of 10 times the straight channel and a downstream width of 3 times the straight channel. This setup ensures optimal conditions for accurate flow rate measurements.
Partially Filled Pipe Flow Rate Sensor

The longer the length of the straight upstream channel, the better. A smooth, unobstructed flow ensures that the velocity measurement closely reflects the actual flow. Avoid any obstructions like gates or weirs in this section to maintain a smooth, turbulence-free flow pattern in front of the sensor.
