1. INTRODUCTION

Our cutting-edge Modbus Gauge Pressure Transmitter Sensor strictly adheres to the renowned MODBUS communication protocol. Leveraging the sub-centralized RTU mode and operating in RS485 half-duplex mode, it ensures seamless and efficient data communication.

Serial port setting: no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit.
Example: 9600, N, 8, 1. Meaning: 9600bps, no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit.
This versatile transmitter supports a wide range of serial baud rates: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200.
The polynomial used for CRC checksum calculations is: 0xA001.
Our data communication process is meticulously structured to handle all transactions in double-byte format. For floating point numbers, it is essential to read the decimal point to accurately determine the value.

Installation Instructions



When modifying the baud rate, the transmitter will respond with the baud rate sent by the host to adjust the data. Once the reply is confirmed, the transmitter's baud rate will seamlessly transition to the newly set target value.
Upon addressing modification, the transmitter will acknowledge with the pre-modified address, and subsequently, the updated address will be automatically configured.
Executing the save and reply factory command will return the original value, indicating the transmitter has successfully received and accepted the host's command.
When restoring to factory settings, be aware that factory parameters might differ from user-saved settings. Consequently, addresses, baud rates, and calibration data might change, necessitating a re-search of the transmitter post-restoration.
Users are authorized to modify three specific data points: address, baud rate, and zero offset.
For calibration or changing calibration data, please contact our company to obtain the appropriate calibration software for the transmitter. Direct user commands to alter calibration data will trigger the transmitter to output an exception code. Use our provided calibration software for any modifications.
If the data to be read is recognized as a floating point number, such as 6.000, but the protocol specifies communication in shaped data format, the data is read as 6000. The decimal point is then applied to achieve 6.000. For example, with a decimal point of 3, 6000 divided by 10^3 results in 6.000.
