Product Description

1.INTRODUCTION

This protocol seamlessly integrates with the MODBUS communication protocol, utilizing the sub-centralized RTU mode and RS485 half-duplex working mode.

Serial port configuration includes: no parity bit, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit.
Configuration Example: 9600,N,8,1 means 9600bps baud rate, no parity, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit.
The transmitter is versatile and supports an extensive range of serial baud rates: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200.
The CRC checksum polynomial used is 0xA001.
Data communication adheres strictly to double-byte formatted data. For floating point numbers, the decimal point must be read to ascertain data magnitude.

Installation Instructions



When you modify the baud rate, the transmitter will provide feedback with the current baud rate as sent by the host. Upon this acknowledgment, the transmitter will then adjust its baud rate to the new specified value.
When changing the address, the transmitter replies with its current address before making any modifications. Once acknowledged, the transmitter's address will automatically update to the new value.
Issuing the save and reply factory command will result in the transmitter returning the original values, indicating that it has successfully accepted the host's command.
Please note that restoring factory settings may revert parameters to their original factory defaults, which might differ from user-saved settings. As such, the address, baud rate, and calibration data may change, necessitating a re-search of the transmitter after the restoration process.
Users are permitted to modify only three parameters: address, baud rate, and zero offset.
For calibration or changes to calibration data, please contact our company for the appropriate transmitter calibration software. Unauthorized changes to calibration data can trigger command exceptions in the transmitter. Always use our specified calibration software for such modifications.
If the data to be read is a floating-point number, like 6.000, but the protocol treats it as an integer, it will be read as 6000. To convert it back, use the decimal point as a reference—e.g., if the decimal point is 3, you divide 6000 by 10^3 to achieve 6.000.
