Experience unparalleled precision with Jiangsu Aice Instrument Technology Co., Ltd.'s Accurate Ultrasonic Velocity Measuring Device. Our state-of-the-art technology ensures the highest levels of accuracy and reliability, setting a new standard in the industry.
Leveraging the Doppler effect, our device establishes a relationship between frequency differences during transmission and reception to measure flow velocity. Additionally, it correlates the time difference between ultrasonic transmission and reception to determine liquid levels. For specialized conditions, it utilizes static pressure levels, and ambient temperature measurements are employed to correct the actual speed of ultrasonic propagation.

2.1 Installation instructions
For optimal safety and correct sensor operation, please follow these installation steps in order:
:
1) Securely mount the meter box and sensor bracket.
2) Insert the meter head into the meter case and firmly secure it.
3) Proceed with mounting the sensor.
4) Complete the electrical connections.
2.2 Mainframe installation
The mainframe can be installed in two ways: embedded or wall-mounted.
1) Mainframe external dimensions: 176 x 150 x 86mm.
Wall mounting dimensions: 167 x 105mm
Designed with four quick wall mounting holes, align the screws with the fixing points and hang the product securely.
Note: When fixing the probe during British line commissioning, ensure the instrument is protected from sun and water to prolong its service life.
2.3 Sensor installation
Precautions:
1) Avoid subjecting the sensor to shocks!
2) Do not unscrew the locking wire connector on the sensor during installation, as it may cause damage!
3) Ensure the water around the sensor does not freeze to avoid damaging the sensor!
Sensor dimensions are illustrated below:
1) Follow these criteria for selecting a sensor mounting location:
2) Install the sensor at a location that ensures representative measurement results.
3) Place the sensor in an accessible location for regular cleaning.
4) Position the sensor in a well-mixed area of the process with no downtime, typically at the sampling point.
5) Install the sensor near a representative sampling point, easily accessible for operators, with a maximum distance of 1.5m (5 feet) between the sensor and sampling point. During calibration and subsequent use, sample the process to compare instrument readings with laboratory analysis for accuracy. Improper sampling operations can lead to erroneous comparison results.
2.4 Sensor installation method
For optimal performance, install the sensor using the mounting bracket to immerse it in the channel or pipe. This method is ideal for various applications, including general open channels and pipelines.
Ensure the sensor is securely mounted on the bracket. Do not suspend the sensor by its cable in the water. Immerse the sensor to a depth of at least 30cm below the water surface, or to the typical depth for sampling, while avoiding direct exposure to strong light.
1) Selection of Installation Site
Opt for a location where the water flow is smooth for accurate measurements.
In turbulent water flow conditions, measurements can be erratic and unstable, leading to significant errors.
2) Upstream and Downstream Channel Requirements
Ideally, the installation site should have an upstream channel width of 10 times the straight channel width and a downstream width of 3 times the straight channel width.
The longer the upstream straight channel, the better, as it ensures smoother flow and more accurate velocity measurements. This section should be free of obstructions like gates or weirs to maintain a smooth, turbulence-free flow pattern at the sensor.
