Additionally, it measures ambient temperature to correct the actual speed of ultrasonic propagation, ensuring precise and reliable readings.

2.1 Installation Instructions
To guarantee the safety of the installer and the optimal performance of the sensor, please follow the installation steps below in the specified order:
:
1) Mount the meter box and sensor bracket securely.
2) Fit the meter head into the meter case and ensure it is properly fastened.
3) Mount the sensor in its designated location.
4) Complete the electrical connection as per guidelines.

2.2 Mainframe Installation
The mainframe offers two types of installation: embedded and wall-mounted options, catering to diverse application needs.
1) External dimensions of the mainframe: 176 x 150 x 86mm.

2) Wall mounting dimensions: 167 x 105mm.
Designed for easy setup, the product features four quick wall mounting holes. Fix the screws as per the specified points on the wall and then hang the static product securely.
Note: When installing the probe in the British line commissioning products, ensure it is securely fixed. To extend the instrument's service life, protect it from sun exposure and water ingress.

2.3 Sensor Installation
Precautions:
1) Handle the sensor with care; avoid any shocks to the sensor.
2) Do not unscrew the locking wire connector on the sensor during installation to prevent potential damage.
3) Ensure the water surrounding the sensor does not freeze, as this could damage the sensor.

When selecting a sensor mounting location, adhere to the following criteria:
1) Install the sensor at an appropriate location within the process to ensure representative measurement results.
2) Ensure the sensor is easily accessible for regular cleaning and maintenance.
3) Install the sensor in a location where the process flow is well mixed and avoids downtime; this is typically near the sampling point.
4) Position the sensor near a representative process sampling point, easy for operators to access, with a maximum distance of 1.5m (5 feet) between the sensor and the sampling point. Accurate sampling operations are crucial for correct comparison of instrument readings with laboratory analysis results.

2.4 Sensor Installation Method
The installation method involves immersing the sensor in the channel or pipeline using a mounting bracket, making it ideal for general open channels, pipelines, and similar settings.
Ensure the sensor is securely installed on the mounting bracket and never suspend it in water with the sensor cable. The sensor should be submerged to a minimum depth of 30cm beneath the water surface, or the typical sampling depth, while avoiding direct exposure to strong light.
1) Choice of Installation Site
Select a location where the water flow is smooth and steady for accurate measurements.
In areas where water flow is inconsistent or turbulent, velocity measurements will be erratic and prone to significant errors.
2) Requirements for Upstream and Downstream Channels
Ideally, the installation site should have a channel width upstream of at least 10 times the channel width, and downstream of at least 3 times the channel width.

The longer the straight section upstream, the smoother and more accurate the flow measurements will be. This section should be free of obstructions such as gates or weirs to ensure a smooth and turbulence-free flow pattern before the sensor.
