Product Description

1. INTRODUCTION

Our Modbus Ceramic Chip Pressure Sensor Transmitter meticulously adheres to the MODBUS communication protocol, operating seamlessly in a sub-centralized RTU mode via the RS485 half-duplex mechanism.

Serial Port Configuration: No parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit.
For example: 9600,N,8,1 signifies a configuration of 9600 bits per second, no parity, 8 data bits, and a single stop bit.
This transmitter is compatible with the following serial baud rates: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200.
CRC Checksum Polynomial: 0xA001.
Data communication is handled exclusively with double-byte shaped data. For floating-point numbers, the decimal point must be read to ascertain the data size.

Installation Instructions



When modifying the baud rate, the transmitter will acknowledge by replying with the baud rate sent by the host. Once acknowledged, the transmitter's baud rate will update to the newly specified target value.
When the address is modified, the transmitter will acknowledge with the pre-modified address. Post acknowledgement, the transmitter address will seamlessly update to the new address.
Issuing a save and reply factory command will return the original value, signaling that the transmitter has successfully accepted the host's command.
Upon restoring factory settings, please be aware that factory-saved parameters may differ from user-saved parameters. This means the address, baud rate, and calibration data might vary. Consequently, it is imperative to search the transmitter again after restoring factory parameters.
Users are permitted to modify only three specific parameters: address, baud rate, and zero offset.
For calibration or changes to calibration data, please contact our company for the appropriate calibration software for the transmitter. Attempting to change calibration data via user commands will result in the transmitter emitting an exception code. Always use our designated calibration software for such tasks.
If the data to be read is recognized as a floating point number, such as 6.000, but the protocol specifies communication as shaped data, the value is read as 6000. The decimal point is then applied to compute 6.000. For instance, if the decimal point is 3, then 6000/10^3 results in 6.000.
