Product Description

1. INTRODUCTION

Our Modbus Protocol Ceramic Pressure Transmitter adheres to the distinguished MODBUS communication standards. It operates efficiently under the sub-centralized RTU mode, utilizing RS485 half-duplex working mode to ensure seamless communication and optimal performance.

Serial port configuration is meticulously set to: no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, ensuring reliable and stable data transmission.
Example Configuration: 9600,N,8,1 translates to 9600bps baud rate, no parity, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit, providing a standard and dependable setup.
This versatile transmitter supports an array of serial baud rates, including: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and up to 115200, accommodating various communication needs.
For error-checking, the transmitter employs a CRC checksum polynomial of 0xA001, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
The data communication process handles all data in double-byte format. For data identified as floating-point numbers, the decimal point must be read to accurately determine the value and magnitude.

Installation Instructions



To modify the baud rate, the transmitter will acknowledge by sending back the baud rate provided by the host. Once acknowledged, the transmitter's baud rate will seamlessly transition to the new specified value.
When changing the address, the transmitter will first respond with the current address. Following this acknowledgement, the transmitter will automatically update to the new address value.
Issuing the save and reply factory command will return the original data value, confirming that the transmitter has successfully accepted the host's command.
Please note, when restoring factory settings, the pre-saved factory parameters may differ from user-specific settings. Therefore, the address, baud rate, and calibration data may change. Ensure to re-scan the transmitter after restoring factory defaults.
Users are permitted to modify only three specific data points: address, baud rate, and zero offset.
For calibration or adjusting calibration data, please contact our company to obtain the transmitter's calibration software. Unauthorized command modifications by the user will result in a command exception code from the transmitter. Only use our provided calibration software for such operations.
When reading data identified as a floating point number, such as 6.000, note that the protocol communicates this data as integer values. For example, 6000 is read instead of 6.000, and to convert, divide by 10 raised to the decimal places, e.g., 6000/10^3 yields 6.000.
