Harnessing the Doppler effect, our sensor establishes a precise relationship between frequency differences during transmission and reception for accurate flow velocity measurement. It also utilizes time differences in ultrasonic transmission and reception to gauge liquid levels, with special provisions for static pressure levels under unique working conditions. Additionally, ambient temperature measurements ensure corrections for accurate ultrasonic propagation speeds.

2.1 Installation Instructions
Follow these steps to ensure installer safety and optimal sensor performance:

1) Secure the meter box and sensor bracket in place.
2) Insert the meter head into the meter case and fasten securely.
3) Install the sensor in its designated position.
4) Complete the electrical connections as specified.
2.2 Mainframe Installation
The mainframe offers flexible installation options: either embedded or wall-mounted.
1) External dimensions of the mainframe: 176 x 150 x 86mm.
Wall mounting dimensions: 167 x 105mm.
Designed with four quick-mount wall holes, the product can be easily secured by fixing screws at the designated points and hanging the product accordingly.
Note: When installing the probe, ensure the product is fixed securely. Protect the instrument from direct sunlight and water exposure to extend its lifespan.
2.3 Sensor Installation
Precautions:
1) Handle the sensor with care to avoid shocks.
2) Do not unscrew the locking wire connector during installation to prevent sensor damage.
3) Ensure the water around the sensor does not freeze to avoid damage.
Sensor dimensions are as follows:
1) Follow these criteria to select an optimal sensor mounting location.
2) Position the sensor to ensure representative measurement results.
3) Install the sensor in an accessible location for regular maintenance and cleaning.
4) Position the sensor in a well-mixed process area without downtime, typically near the sampling point.
5) Install the sensor close to a representative sampling point within 1.5m (5 feet). During calibration and use, sample the process to compare instrument readings with lab analysis. Incorrect sampling can lead to erroneous comparisons.
2.4 Sensor Installation Method
Our versatile installation method involves immersing the Advanced Doppler Ultrasonic Velocity Measuring Sensor into the channel or pipeline using a mounting bracket. This technique is perfectly suited for a wide range of environments, including general open channels and diverse pipeline configurations.
For optimal performance, it is imperative to secure the sensor on the mounting bracket rather than suspend it by the sensor cable. Ensure the sensor is submerged at least 30cm below the water surface, or to the typical sampling depth, while also shielding it from direct, intense light to preserve accuracy.
1) Selection of Installation Site
Opt for locations where water flow is consistently smooth to achieve precise measurements.
In turbulent water conditions, the flow velocity readings often become erratic and unstable, leading to significant measurement errors. Therefore, it is crucial to avoid such areas for accurate results.
2) Upstream and Downstream Channel Specifications
Ideally, the sensor should be installed at a site where the upstream channel is at least 10 times the width of the channel in a straight line, and the downstream channel is 3 times the width in a straight line.
A longer straight upstream channel ensures smoother flow, resulting in velocity measurements that closely match the actual flow conditions. This section must be free of obstructions like gates or weirs to maintain a stable, turbulence-free water pattern ahead of the sensor.
