It also computes the time differential of ultrasonic waves between transmission and reception to determine liquid levels. In addition, it measures static pressure for specialized conditions and ambient temperature to correct the actual ultrasonic propagation speed.

2.1 Installation Instructions
To ensure installer safety and optimal sensor performance, please follow the installation steps outlined below.
:
1) Securely mount the meter box and sensor bracket.
2) Carefully fit the meter head into the meter case and secure it properly.
3) Proceed to mount the sensor.
4) Complete the electrical connections.

2.2 Mainframe Installation
The mainframe can be installed in two ways: embedded or wall-mounted.
1) Mainframe external dimensions: 176 x 150 x 86mm.

Designed for quick installation, the product features four wall mounting holes. Fasten the screws according to the designated mounting points and simply hang the device.
Note: During probe installation, ensure proper line commissioning and protect the instrument from sun and water exposure to prolong its service life.

2.3 Sensor Installation
Precautions:
1) Handle the sensor with care to avoid shocks!
2) Do not unscrew the locking wire connector during installation to prevent sensor damage!
3) Ensure the water does not freeze when the sensor is submerged, as this can damage the sensor!
Sensor dimensions are as illustrated:

1) Adhere to the following criteria when selecting a sensor mounting location:
2) Mount the sensor at a location that ensures representative measurement results.
3) Install the sensor for easy access to facilitate regular cleaning.
4) Place the sensor where the process is well mixed and operational, typically at the sampling point.
5) Install the sensor near a representative process sampling point for easy operator access. Ensure the distance between the sensor and the sampling point does not exceed 1.5m (5 feet). Accurate sampling is crucial for comparing instrument readings with laboratory analysis.

2.4 Sensor Installation Method
The installation method of immersing the sensor in the channel or pipe through the mounting bracket is ideally suited for general open channels, pipelines, and a variety of similar applications. This approach ensures optimal functionality and reliable performance.
The sensor must be securely installed on the mounting bracket. Never suspend the sensor in water solely by its cable. The sensor should be submerged to a depth of at least 30cm below the water surface or to the typical sampling depth. Additionally, avoid direct exposure to strong light to maintain accurate readings.
1) Choice of Installation Site
Select a location where the water flow is consistently smooth for precise measurements.
In areas where water flow is irregular or predominantly turbulent, the velocity measurements can become erratic and unreliable, leading to significant errors.
2) Requirements for Upstream and Downstream Channels
For optimal conditions, the installation site should have an upstream channel width that is 10 times the straight channel width, and a downstream channel width that is 3 times the straight channel width.

The longer the straight upstream channel, the smoother the flow, enabling velocity measurements that closely match the actual flow. Ensure this section is free from obstructions such as gates or weirs to maintain a smooth, turbulence-free flow pattern in front of the sensor.
