2.1 Installation Instructions
To ensure installer safety and optimal sensor performance, adhere to the following installation steps:

1) Securely mount the meter box and sensor bracket.
2) Fit the meter head into the meter case and ensure it's firmly secured.
3) Proceed with the sensor mounting.
4) Complete the electrical connections carefully.

2.2 Mainframe Installation
The mainframe can be installed either embedded or wall-mounted, offering flexibility in setup.

Precautions:
1) Avoid shocking the sensor to prevent damage.
2) Do not unscrew the locking wire connector on the sensor during installation to avoid potential damage.
3) Ensure the water around the sensor does not freeze, as this could cause damage.

To guarantee the sensor's longevity and efficiency, it must be securely installed on the mounting bracket. Avoid suspending the sensor in water by its cable. Ensure the sensor is immersed to a minimum depth of 30cm below the water surface or the typical sampling depth, and protect it from direct exposure to intense light.
1) Optimal Site Selection for Installation
Select a location where the water flow is consistently smooth to achieve precise measurements.
In areas where water flow is predominantly turbulent, the measured flow velocity will be erratic and unstable, leading to significant errors. It is crucial to avoid such locations for sensor installation.
2) Upstream and Downstream Channel Requirements
Ideally, the flowmeter should be installed at a site with an upstream channel width 10 times that of the straight channel, and a downstream channel width 3 times. This ensures accurate and reliable measurements.

For the most precise readings, choose sites with longer straight upstream channels. The smoother the flow, the closer the velocity measurement will match the actual flow.
