It also measures the time difference between ultrasonic transmission and reception to gauge liquid levels, incorporates static pressure level measurements for specialized conditions, and adjusts for ambient temperature to correct the actual speed of ultrasonic propagation.

2.1 Installation Instructions
For installer safety and optimal sensor performance, adhere to the following installation sequence:

1) Secure the meter box and sensor bracket.
2) Insert the meter head into the meter case and fasten securely.
3) Install the sensor.
4) Complete the electrical connections.

2.2 Mainframe Installation
The mainframe can be installed either embedded or wall-mounted.
1) Mainframe external dimensions: 176 x 150 x 86mm.

Designed with four quick wall mounting holes, simply align and secure the screws to the designated wall mounting points, then hang the product.
Note: During probe installation, ensure fixed positioning for British line commissioning products. To extend the instrument’s lifespan, protect it from excessive sunlight and water exposure.

2.3 Sensor Installation
Precautions:
1) Avoid shocking the sensor!
2) Do not unscrew the locking wire connector on the sensor after installation, as this may cause damage!
3) Ensure water containing the sensor does not freeze to avoid damage!

1) Adhere to the following criteria when selecting a sensor mounting location:
2) Mount the sensor at a location that ensures representative measurement results.
3) Install the sensor where it is easily accessible for regular cleaning.
4) Place the sensor in a well-mixed process location without downtime, usually at the sampling point.
5) Position the sensor near a representative process sampling point, easily accessible for the operator. The distance between the sensor and sampling point should not exceed 1.5m (5 feet). During calibration and subsequent use, process sampling is essential to compare instrument readings with laboratory results. Incorrect sampling can lead to erroneous comparison results.

2.4 Sensor Installation Method
The installation method involves immersing the sensor into the channel or pipe using a mounting bracket, making it suitable for general open channels, pipelines, and various other applications where precise flow rate measurement is essential.
For optimal performance, the sensor must be securely attached to the mounting bracket. Avoid suspending the sensor by its cable in the water. Ensure the sensor is submerged at least 30cm below the water's surface or to the typical sampling depth, and keep it out of direct, intense light.
1) Choice of Installation Site
Select a location where the water flow is consistently smooth to ensure accurate measurement.
In areas where water flow is irregular or predominantly turbulent, the measured flow velocity will be erratic and unstable, leading to significant errors.
2) Requirements for Upstream and Downstream Channels
Ideally, the installation site should have a straight channel upstream with a width of 10 times the channel's width, and a downstream length of 3 times the channel's width.

The longer the straight upstream channel, the smoother the water flow, resulting in measurements that closely reflect the actual flow. This segment should be free from any obstructions, such as gates or weirs, to ensure a smooth, turbulence-free flow pattern in front of the sensor.
