For special working conditions, static pressure levels are measured, and ambient temperature measurements are performed to correct the actual speed of ultrasonic propagation.

2.1 Installation Instructions
To ensure installer safety and optimal sensor performance, please follow these step-by-step instructions carefully.
:
1) Begin by mounting the meter box and sensor bracket securely.
2) Fit the meter head into the meter case and ensure it is firmly secured.
3) Proceed to mount the sensor.
4) Finally, complete the electrical connections.
2.2 Mainframe Installation
The mainframe offers two installation options: embedded and wall-mounted.
1) External dimensions of the mainframe are 176 x 150 x 86mm.
Wall mounting dimensions are 167 x 105mm.
Designed with four quick wall mounting holes for effortless installation. Simply secure the screws at the designated points and hang the product in place.
Note: Ensure the probe is securely fixed during commissioning. To prolong the instrument's lifespan, protect it from direct sunlight and water exposure.
2.3 Sensor Installation
Precautions:
1) Avoid any shocks to the sensor to prevent damage.
2) Do not unscrew the locking wire connector on the sensor during installation to avoid potential damage.
3) Ensure the water around the sensor does not freeze, as this can harm the sensor.
Sensor dimensions are as specified:
1) Select the sensor mounting location based on the following criteria.
2) Position the sensor appropriately in the process to ensure accurate and representative measurement results.
3) Install the sensor in an accessible location for regular cleaning and maintenance.
4) Place the sensor in a well-mixed area of the process with no downtime, usually near the sampling point.
5) Mount the sensor near a representative process sampling point. Ensure the location is convenient for operator sampling, with the sensor no more than 1.5m (5 feet) from the sampling point. Proper sampling is crucial for accurate comparisons between instrument readings and laboratory analysis.
2.4 Sensor Installation Method
The installation method involves immersing the sensor in the channel or pipe using a mounting bracket, making it ideal for general open channels, pipelines, and similar scenarios.
Ensure the sensor is securely installed on the mounting bracket. Do not suspend the sensor in the water using the cable. The sensor should be immersed to a depth of at least 30cm below the water surface, or to the depth typically reached during sampling, while avoiding direct exposure to strong light.
1) Choice of Installation Site
Select a location where the water flow is consistently smooth to ensure accurate measurements.
In areas where the water flow is not smooth and frequently turbulent, the measured flow velocity will be erratic and unstable, resulting in significant errors.
2) Requirements for Upstream and Downstream Channels
Ideally, the flowmeter installation site should have an upstream channel width of 10 times the straight channel and a downstream width of 3 times the straight channel.
The longer and straighter the upstream channel, the smoother the flow, resulting in velocity measurements that closely match the actual flow. This section should be free of obstructions such as gates or weirs to ensure a smooth, turbulence-free flow pattern in front of the sensor.
