Welcome to Jiangsu Aice Instrument Technology Co., Ltd.
I. Basic Setting Once the instrument is installed, simply set the installation height and select the appropriate standard weir/flume type for operation. II. Installation Height Setting The installation height varies with different types of water measuring weirs/flumes. Below are the standard methods to confirm installation heights for several types: Parshall Flume: Measure the vertical distance from the end of the ultrasonic transducer (probe) to the bottom inside the water measuring flume, in meters. Rectangular Weir: Measure the vertical distance from the end of the ultrasonic transducer (probe) to the lowest point of the water outlet in the measuring weir, in meters. Triangular Weir: Measure the vertical distance from the end of the ultrasonic transducer (probe) to the right-angle point of the water outlet in the measuring weir, in meters.
III. Flumes/Weirs Selection and Setting Corresponding Geometric Parameters Select the standard flume/weir type based on the actual type of flume/weir in use. Set the corresponding geometric parameters according to the selected type: Parshall Flume: Choose 'Parshall Flume' and set the standard flume number based on the width of its throat section, as detailed in Table 1. Rectangular Weir: Choose 'Rectangular Weir' and set the channel width, weir width, bottom height, and other geometric parameters specific to the rectangular weir type.
